Bellingham Masters Swim Club welcomes swimmers 18+ who want to improve skills and stay fit in a supportive community. Workouts run Monday to Friday, 6–7:30 AM, covering freestyle, stroke technique, and medley sets. Swimmers of all levels are encouraged, from beginners to advanced. No special gear required, and there are no club fees—just pool admission. New members can simply show up and join in!
Mount Baker Bicycle Club (MBBC) hosts weekly road, gravel, and trail rides year-round, open to all (several group ride options a week open to all skill levels). From skills-building group rides to fast-paced training, there's something for every cyclist. Ride details vary by season—check the calendar and bring lights or fenders when needed! First ride is free (annual membership is $35 for an individual and $50 for a family).
One Saturday a month, Bellingham Gravel Riders gathers for a guided gravel excursion—routes vary across Whatcom County, including two route options (social and adventure route). Keep up with Bellingham Gravel Riders via their Facebook Page and Instagram to learn about rides and connect with other gravel riders.
The Greater Bellingham Running Club (GBRC) is a volunteer-driven nonprofit that has connected runners since 1976, making the sport and its community accessible and inviting to everyone Greater Bellingham Running Club. GBRC hosts year-round running events and races, offers weekly workouts and group runs, social gatherings, work parties, youth programs, and volunteer opportunities, and gives back to the community.
All Paces meets year round Tuesdays at 6 PM at Fairhaven Runners & Walkers (1209 11th Street, Bellingham, WA 98225). Friendly and social, each run goes 20 minutes out and 20 minutes back along one of two key routes—either by the water or through the woods—with participants grouped by pace (from run/walk up to 7–8 min/mile). Runs often feature the latest demo shoes, and all runs start and finish at the store and are free. Sorry, these are people-only events (no doggies, please). More info here.
Bellingham Trail Running Club (BTRC) is an all-levels community of trail enthusiasts who explore Whatcom County’s forests, bluffs, and back-country via a weekly, social Thursday-night trail run at 6:30 PM. The Facebook page includes routes and is a great place to connect with other trail runners.
